Article V, Duties of Officers

Section 13 – The Board of Directors shall meet at such times as the President shall request or upon written request of five members of the Society in good standing. Section 9 – The Membership Director will be responsible for the processing of new member applications and the updating and publication of the society directory. This position will also see that all new members receive copies of the society by-laws and directory, that blank membership applications are available for all appropriate functions and will advise the board on the eligibility of members for honorary Life status.

General duties:

At Meetings

1. Greet visitors

2. Prompt for renewals

3. Announce membership important dates

4. Update treasurer with payment information

5. Ensure ADS is updated with payment information

6. Use technology (Square) to accept payment by credit card

7. Give checks and cash to treasurer or deposit in bank

8. Write any articles for the website or emails (using MailChimp) to make announcements. May also coordinate to include the information in a web post or email that is already planned.
