We continue celebrating the 90th Anniversary of the Minnesota Dahlia Society with the Year of the Dahlia. The National Garden Bureau has declared 2019 the Year of the Dahlia and what perfect timing for us! Check out the information on the Year of the Dahlia with the National Garden Bureau

Saturday and Sunday, September 14 – 15, 2019 Fall Dahlia Show Location: Bachman’s Garden Center, Heritage Room 6010 Lyndale Avenue S, Minneapolis

Open to the public Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

All information and rules regarding the show can be found in the show book. All exhibitors are responsible for carefully reviewing the show book and understanding the rules. If you have any questions, please contact our MDS Show Chair, Eric Thomson at eric.thomson@eandkqa.com.

Printed copies of the show book will be available at the garden tour picnic on August 11th. If you are unable to make the picnic you can contact our MDS Show Chair, Eric Thomson, to arrange to meet him at one of two pick-up locations for the bus on the day of the garden tour, or you can request a copy to be mailed to your address.

Staging times are available between Friday 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM.

This is the smaller, more relaxed Dahlia show. The main purpose is to give growers and judges more experience but the public are welcome to tour the blooms for free. Exhibitors must be in good standing with the Minnesota Dahlia Society, the American Dahlia Society, or an American Dahlia Society affiliate.

The Heritage Room is in the back of the garden center, behind the shade plants, in the building where the Koi Fish are housed.
